I ordered a Lang 36 on 4/25 and was wondering what a realistic build time is. They told me 6 weeks. Does anybody have recent experience with Lang? Thanks

Lots of us have Lang’s around here and I can only remember one going beyond the expected date. With that said, I have not heard a complaint and there customer service is top notch in my dealings with them. Let us know if you have any questions. We love talking about our Pits LOL. Welcome aboard!
I must have ordered mine at an extremely busy time for them, and it took 8 weeks to get built.
But believe me the wait is worth it, it's a tremendous smoker that will last a lifetime.
I remember how slow the time went after I placed the order. It seems like it took a year to get built!!
It has a rack of ribs in it right now, my wife went to the coast with her G/F & so I can make the ribs the way I like them!!!
No beans, or sides, I'm just going to pig out on ribs. I skipped lunch, except for a few beers. So I'm going to be really hungry when the ribs are done!

I just hope it's here before the 4th. Watching videos of other Lang owners isn't cutting it anymore. :)

LOL been there. This was an awesome day for me when the truck pulled up. Although I wish mine was that monster in the back it was the 36 sitting next to it Love my grill, you made a great choice

Just FYI, mine only took about 4 weeks and that was them having to make a second one becasue the first one was involved in an accident on the freeway. You have a good chance at having by the 4th.

I ordered on May 9. Was told 5-6 weeks at the time. Mine hasn’t been built. The guy who ordered on May 1 a few towns north of me said his was completed 2 weeks ago but they were waiting on a full truck to our location. His was supposed to ship this week. Yours may Be in the same situation. They hold smokers until they get a full load headed in the general area.

That's what I figured. Oregon is kinda out of the way it seems as far as shipping goes.
