Just bought a Master Forge upright smoker yesterday and have 2 pork butts smokin right now as an experiment. Plan on modifying it before the next smoke withe the door seal and modifying the water pan. I'll post a pic in about 6 hours

Realized real quick that even though i raised the chip pan up a level this thing needs serious tweaking. i got good smoke but the chunks didnt last an hour. i need to find a cast iron skillet and i might flip the original chip pan upside down and set it on top. At least the meat is looking good

Welcome to the forums!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
