I've been a lurker on here for quite a while, but finally registered. I'm a born and raised Texan but I settled in North Alabama after my Army career.
Naturally, being a Texan, I have a preference for brisket but I love smoking pork as well.
I do my work on a Weber Smokey Mountain 22" and a Greasy Hill BR-01 smoker.
To get the football season kicked off today, I smoked a 14.5lb brisket, a 7lb pork butt, and a little sausage.
