Hi, I live in Bohol in the Philippines. I have lived here for about six years. I am new to smoking and am in the process of building a 3X3X7 foot smokehouse out of concrete blocks with the upper part being built out of mahogany. In regards to wood
I have been able to find guava which is used in Hawaii. The postings by members have been very helpful. Thanks

​Welcome and that sounds like quite a build you have going on.  Will be interested in seeing pictures of the finished product!!!!   Retired Navy here and spent some time in Olongapo and Baguio City in my day.
