New guy in PA.

Hello everyone. 

I'm new to the forum and to smoking. Have been lurking for the past few weeks getting ideas, and learning what I can.

Just picked up a Masterbuilt XL smoker from Bass Pro. I think it will best suit my needs and seems easy for a newbie to learn with.

I live in south central PA (near Gettysburg). Love to go camping and of course cooking with fire. Got a few friends that use smokers, so think I have a support network. 

Great forum and friendly people. I hope to soon be able to contribute. I also, just signed up for the 5 Day course.

Just to update. I have changed my mind a bit and took back the Masterbuilt XL and am looking for a WSM. Maybe I just did to much research.

Just got all my goodies today. Was ready to get a 18.5" WSM, but just laying a 22.5" grate on top of the smaller one, convinced me to go bigger.

Hope to break it in next week. I will try to remember pics of the first smoke.
