Hey Folks!

My name is Tim. I am a pilot from southwest Florida. I Just got a MasterBuilt Propane smoker and am wondering if anyone has any great ideas for a first run.  Thanks

I will add Brats to that list!  once you smoke them..you will never grill 'em again!  Wear a bib..they will be juicy!

Thanks! I had never thought of smoking them, I think that might be my first run. do you have a special recipe or method that you would recommend to cook the brats?

I use Johnsonville brand. Have used others...but these worked best for me. Just 225 -235 on the smoker and cook for less than 2 hours.

There is a sausage part of the forum....the guys there will have you wanting to make home made ones!

to SMF Tim!  I agree with Kathryn, brats are a great choice for a first run. But beware, you will never grill them again

    If you like pulled pork a pork shoulder is a very easy smoke, just time consuming! Good luck and don't forget to post some pictures!
 
Thanks for all the info! It will be about a week till I can get try it. I will definitely put up some pictures!
