New guy from Washington state!

Hello all! My name is Shane and I'm from Hoquiam Washington. I like skateboarding, hiking, playing banjo and cooking. I'm new to all things grilling, including smoking. A few weeks ago I bought a Brinkman mini offset smoker and I've been using the grill alot. Trying my hands today at smoking a rack of ribs, and I'm just kind of winging it, so wish me luck. I probably won't have much to contribute for a while, but I'm definitely going to lurk and soak up as much info and help as I possibly can! Thanks alot guys!

Thanks for the welcome! My ribs turned out better than I thought they would, but I would have liked them a bit less dry. Still damn tasty!
