My name is Luke.  I am just a good ole boy from the bootheel of Missouri.  Went to school at Mizzou!  Love me some good football and baseball.  I am currently living in Sikeston, MO working as a Boiler Chemist at the Sikeston Power Plant.  I am a bonefide newbie when it comes to smoking.  Of course I fed myself very well thru school with the trusty grill but I recent found a steal on a Char-Broil Double Door offset smoker/grill.  I spent most of this summer playing with it blindly trying different.  Then BEHOLD I come across this site and made a few modifications to the ole girl (fitted baffle, custom charcoal basket, added thermos closer to grate, extend the stack, etc...) I have been producing( in my opinion) some of the best meal in my short "career"  I look forward to learning as much as I can from this site and hopefully give my input where ever I can!
