Just signed up as a new member after getting an electric Brinkmann for Father's Day. Mrs. Elcid83 enjoyed a friend's brisket from a similar smoker so now I get to figure out how to do it. I'm 51 and have cooked with charcoal grills, gas grills - now, I'm back to cooking on charcoal and really remember why I liked it so much and wondered why I liked gas for so long [easy]. I really like all of the stuff I have read on here so far and look forward to learning more about smoking. Thanks to those who have already contributed so much and I look forward to making my own contributions in the future.
