Hi! Thought I would sound out and share my little experiment. First about me. Long time griller dabbler. Nothing fancy, gas, charcoal, camp fires. Recent bariatric surgery,11 months post. Used that to energize a new attitude and hopefully brighter outlook. Long and short, thought I would make the food I can eat more about the quality then tbe quantity. If interested, I went from 360 to 230 since Sept 2018 to today and feel great. Nuf about me. I bought a Chargriller firebox for grillin. One day thought why can't I smoke something in it. So i did. Came out, for me, great. Found this site while researching smoke meat and smokers. But really thonking about turning the firebox into a real baby smoker. I don't really need to feed the neighborhood with a full size smoker. Will eventually start a thread on how that goes. That's all for now, gota ckeck my pork butt on my smoker. 15674387108286580938198006379095.jpg

Congrats on the weight loss! I bet you are feeling great too! I lost 80 pounds in 18 months and have kept it off for well over 10 years now. Your smoker will provide some tasty meals to help keep it off!

Your smoked butt does look good! Like!

I do hope to see some more posts/pics from you.
