Been grilling for many, many years and have always wanted to smoke meat. Found this forum researching smokers.   Ended up getting the 40" MES from sams, great smoker.  Did our first smoke last night, a quick pork chop smoke that came out extremely tasty.  Was a very easy and painless process using this smoker and had no issues generating smoke using chips. Did have to add chips a couple times but the flavor was there.  So much easier than the cheap old brinkmans I tried.  Both the box and the barrel.  Those were extremely difficult to maintain heat, even on 100+ days!

Now on to learn the art of smoking and I am sure I will learn a lot here so...
