Total newbie here!! I've always loved grilling (Weber E330). I recently purchased a Charbroil vertical vault smoker which I basically stole with the deal I got. I made a few modifications from which I learned from this totally awesome forum (SMF).

I had my first overnight smoke last night with a 12lb Boston Butt. (Go big or go home). Dad came over this morning and we threw 2 racks of ribs in for lunch time alcohol absorption. I'd have to say it was all a success.

I'm looking forward to continuing this new hobby and stepping up my cardio to combat the inevitable. This forum has countless years of experience and I'm grateful for each of you that share your thoughts and suggestions to others.

Needless to say I'M HOOKED!

'Merica

Thanks

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a rainy  cool day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
