New from BC

Have been reading the forum for some time now and thought it was time to introduce myself. My Name is Ron and I live on the west coast of Vancouver Island BC Canada. I'm an avid salmon fisherman and hence I smoke a ton of fish a year. Since reading all the forum topics I find its time to branch out from just smoking salmon, so we'll see how it goes. Back to working on the boat.

Ron, evening....  All of the troller fleet I have met are great people... Alert Bay, Port Hardy, Hakaii Pass, Stewart Island, all were ready to BS and share secrets with the Yank... Even spent some time inside Nitinat Lake tied up to the float where the shake cutter lived in the 70's.....

Glad you stopped in to your addictive new home..... This forum and the folks here are willing to share their secrets and time tested recipes.... Hang on....  and enjoy the long smokey ride....     Dave
