Well I have been wanting a Kamado style cooker for quite a while. I pulled the trigger on an Akorn the other day. Got a good deal on it at Lowes for 269. I did the initial burn off on it once I got it all put together. I really like the insulated cooker it holds heat like nobody's business. hoping to do my first cook on it this weekend. I ordered the smoking stone and it should be here Friday.
