Hello, we live in the US in MO on 40 acres. We currently do not have a smoker but are very interested in building a smoke house & learning how to smoke meats...etc. as we have no electric so this would be a good way for us to preserve meat. Not exactly sure what the difference is between cold & hot smoking yet. Just read the forum on the Cedar smoke house & very interested in something along those lines.
