Need help with door ideas

I am in the process of building a concrete block vertical smoker and I need ideas for an access door. Any ideas??????

How big and how much do ya want to spend?
Are you dry stacking the block or laying them in mortar?

I see oven's all the time in the Towns scrape metal pile and thought one of there doors with the window would be a sweet set up in a smoker.

let use know what you got and I'm sure we can come up with something.

I'd get a local welder to do a rectangular of angle iron and weld some hinges to one side and hang a flat iron door to that with handle/lock on the other side, much like a firebox door, then mortar that in. You'd have to have some back bracing welded to the angle iron to go behind the supporting blocks too like a 4" flange all the way around to offset the frontal weight.
