Hey guys. So I went to the local butcher and picked up a few things to smoke for tomorrows football games. While I was there I asked about a pork picnic and he said he had a center section that he said he likes better. It was only 8 bucks for a good sized piece so I bought it. Does anyone know what a good way to cook this is?

Id cook just like a normal shoulder

Not sure what a center section is ? But looks like a hunk of butt so i'd smoke it as such.

rub and fridge overnight  smoke @ 235 to 160 internal ,wrap in foil and cook to 200 for pulled pork.

I goggled it and they say it is part of the loin.  I would smoke like a butt, and for sure foil
