I used my smoker for the first time and when it came time to do some cleaning I noticed some little rust. It was mostly on drip tray which was covered with foil... My question is...is this normal if not what should I do?? Thanks Much

Mine did the same thing. Best part is that it was returned along with the Traeger.

Keep smoking on it.  Sooner or later the internals should be covered with enough "soot" that it will act as a barrier to all rust.
