In celebration of National Bacon day I decided to stop by "my place" and survey the bellies. Not a fantastic haul, but not bad for post holiday. After cured and smoked, and i cube off the ends for "belly tacos", I should get about 4 lbs of bacon. Not bad at around $3.99/lb before skinning. Also bought the rest of the store as they had nice beef back ribs and a platter of stew beef so mama can make some ropa vieja. chicken wings still out of line a $3.99/lb, but the freezer was low and the billfold was out.
