Got a unique attachment to Animal House. I moved into a 5 house cooperative back in my college days. One of the houses had a resemblance to Delta House.

Kinda the same for me, but the movie was Dazed and Confused! It came out the year I started college, and a bunch of us went and saw it at the drive-in. What a great way for an immature 17 year old to start his first year of school away from home.

Set the expectations of what college life should look like. I was an over achiever.Kinda the same for me, but the movie was Dazed and Confused!
So you would have been an Omega? I was definitely in the Delta category.Set the expectations of what college life should look like. I was an over achiever.
Funny, I always saw you more as a Lambda kind of a guy.So you would have been an Omega? I was definitely in the Delta category.

That's what I do, as well...I place the tomatoes, onions, peppers, meat and whatever else on their own skewer(s). That way I can control the cook of each item better.
yup, wish I had the patience. but I'd chow a few without hesitation....tomatoes are really coming on, so I figured I would use up a few to help out! Trimmed up and marinaded some sirloin steaks, teriyaki and garlic parm chicken and wrapped most of it in bacon. Had some temp issues with the grill, but still didn't suck!

Thats the way I cook them also, granddaughter is allergic to onions but I started that way before we knew, it's tough to get items cooked properly while others are still raw, also if somebody doesn't like something it wont end up in the garbage. Was looking at my skewers a day or 2 ago and thinking about some shrimp. That looks great but I have a different approach to skewers these days that works for me.
I place the tomatoes, onions, peppers, meat and whatever else on their own skewer(s). That way I can control the cook of each item better. When finished I place everything in a large bowl so everyone can pick and choose what they want to eat.
That might not work for everyone but it certainly works for who I cook for. It seems everyone likes/dislikes something so this makes it easier for everyone to enjoy what they want to eat.
Ha, I did not say academic over achiever. So you would have been an Omega? I was definitely in the Delta category.

My attention deficit disorder is bad enough that I didnt even notice! JUst another day in my........oh look, a squirrel!I was going to apologize for the thread high jack, but OPBuckeyedude was part of the dance down memory lane.
I moved into the house (my third year) that resembled Delta. We had our fun times, but we put a lot of sweat equity into the house.
I have a pair of those as well. I learned it from Sorted, a British YouTube cooking show. Funny thing is they bought it from the USA.If I was going to throw it all in a bowl I would skip the skewers and use my basket, I have a large stainless that has 1/2-3/4 of a gallon capacity.
