Few years ago when my wifes mom was going thru some cancer she taught my wife how to knit Christmas stockings. Sadly she passed 2 years ago and my wife has kept up the knitting.

Over the summer my family from Calif was vacationing in Ft Myers so we drove over. My wife offered to knit stockings for her family, kids & grandkids for 16 total.

Its taken her 3 months to knit them all.

Just thought i would share.

Now she is ready to knit more for her sister in Germany and her kids. We are hand delivering these to Germany in April.

For my sisters family.

Those look AWESOME!

I tried Knitting when I was a teenager, but never quite got the hang of it. Now, I can crochet! LOL! I have a King-Sized Afghan I am making for our bed, (still working on it, once in a while.)

That "Special Delivery" will be a great present in itself! Safe travels in April!

Your wife is a very talented lady!

Your going to have some happy relatives!

Especially if you fill the stockings up with sausage!

Looks great! My wife is a knitter too. She's currently working on three baby blankets for friends and relatives.
Cool that they can do this, i got no patience. She tried to show me.....Not

The knitting needles clicking remind me of when i was a kid growing up in S, Calif desert of scorpions walking on the concrete.

Beautiful Knitting for sure, Nepas!!

Proves Women have more patience than Men!!!

My Grandmother used to do a lot of Knitting & Crocheting, and while I was in Vietnam, she taught Mrs Bear how to Crochet.

Then Mrs Bear taught some of my Army Buddy's wives how to Crochet when I got back.

Over the last 30 years, she has made all kinds of Afghans for all the relatives.

Now for the last few years she has been making Baby Blankets for the church.

Everybody who gets Baptized at our Church gets a free Baby Blanket made by Mrs Bear.

Every night, while watching a Movie, she sits & Crochets---She's like a Machine.

My wife wanted me to learn. I do math all day long at work so the last thing I want to do when I come home is count all evening!
