. Now , that works!!!

Also, while 'Surfing' ,I found the NewJersey dist. for the Mavericks and was able to order 1 "sending unit" only for $26.65 total to my front door. Now I again will have all my toys working(although 1 will look a bit beaten ,for a while).

I am amped to use my new Therm. Pen (T-P) .I've been looking at the Weather Trish will let me get out and play in and see this Saturday will be in the 50's,I have no Cough or Weasing , so... Got a Brisky in the freezer waiting , so it'll come out today . I'll use my emergency stash of Allowance and get some Ribs to do on 'Baby Girl'.

Now ,  I can have sme fun.....Q-view (on my OWN Camera too) . And I always ...

Will be taking Trish to  St. Vincent Hosp. on Tues. for neck surgery on her Spinal Stinosis at the C5-6 area. I've been takin care of her with all the little things around the house like lifting, extentions , reaching to far; basically she's in her TV chair since the 15th of this month and could be off till the 23rd af next month. She's nervous of the Hardware going on her spine and the Doc explained that he'll be going throuh her chest plate... proven to be sucessful for over 7000 operations   and I hope so.

Please send a little prayer to her Gardian Angels , and I'll care for her the best I can.

Have fun and...

Prayers for you and Trish are inbound!!

On a side note, nice toys. Got 2 black Mavericks last week. For some reason I still like my pocket thermometers.....maybe it has to do with the free from work has to do with it  .......

Jimmy I have always been told the yellow ones were the fastest.......

Thanks all for the prayers for Trish. Took her in at 8am today and she was out of surgery at1:30pm. Doing fine now and sleeping it off.

They went though the near the Carotid Artery on her right neck (new procedure , less invasive than the Back.) She's not complaining of pain yet . Going to pick her up tomorrow , then at  home for 3-6weeks.

Sorry about posting this under my "toy" thread , but worry makes ya forget some times

Stan, just found this thread.  Glad to hear Trish is doing well!  I know you will take excellent care of her, but, tell her to take it easy and follow the doc's instructions.  All of us here are praying for her fast recovery.  PS:  Congrats on the new toys, makes me kind of jelous.  take care, and keep on keeping on.  Steve and gang

Sounds like it went well...thank God for that.  Hope that her recovery goes smooth.  Any surgery is tough to recover and bounce back.

I went though a double fusion of C5/6/7 back in 2000. I wore a cevical collar for at least a month.  The majority of the pain I had was the soreness in my thoat from the tubes/moving the tracea, not the incisions or fusion.  My incision was just above the collar bone.   Hardest part was having to learn to turn your body(side to side and up/down) instead of your neck which still sucks.    One thing the doctor did prescribe is a TENS unit for the muscle fatigue/spasms.  Insurance paid for mine(luckily).

Btw.  get some bubble mirrors for her side view mirrors.  It makes seeing your blind spots a lot easier than turning her neck to look.

wishing/praying for the best.

Stan... I just sent a whole smoker full of prayers (via TBS) to both of y'alls guardian angels... so far sounds like everything is good (thank god)...

grats on the new toys... lucky dog

God Bless, Keith
