Just seasoned my new UDS's last night, wanted to share them with the forum.  I didn't build them, but I'm a happy owner!

My Daddy raised me to love the Oilers, and the Cowboys!!  Football, and BBQ, heaven, and heaven!

Big thanks for the welcome, love this forum!!!

Thanks, I was really impressed with the attention to detail he used in making them.  They're seasoned up, hopefully I can smoke some meat on them tomorrow.

Oh man they looks great, however the years should be  1972, 1978, 1993, 1994, and 1996.

Hey Big Sherm those are some great looking UDS smokers.  You are going to love them.

Those are great looking.  You will love them.  I finished my first UDS a few weeks back and have already smoked on it 6 times.  I'm gonna start a second one and do an Italian Flag theme.  Be patient as it takes a little time to figure out the temps and your drum.  Best looking UDS I've seen yet.

Is that a 1/2 inch ball valve on the front?  If it is you might need to run it wide open.

Nice looking rigs there Sherm.... now if he can get one with pictures of the Dallas Cheerleaders on them.... lol.

Great looking Smokers. I especially love the primer paint that is on them now put the finishing touch on them and they will be super. Go Seahawks

Thanks to all,

EJ yeah I learned that the hardway when I seasoned them, I have to run it wide open but it held 250 pretty well.  I'm going to have to figure out how to use the nipples I guess to

dial the temps in.  What do you think?

Just remove the cap on the other nipple and put another ball valve on it. Then you can adjust easily and quickly to get the desired temps.

Great looking smokers - not so much on the teams though Welcome

Just converted mine over this past week to my favorite team .. so now its an offical Steelers UDS..... my motto, smoke your opposition like its a piece of meat.
