My new smoker

I just had my new Yoder smoker delivered today (with convection plate). I previously had a Cabelas electric smoker but I needed to upgrade. I saw a previous post where a guy from the KC area didn't have any luck getting his delivered but I took a chance anyway. I called them Thursday afternoon and it arrived at my house just after noon on Monday. I couldn't ask for it to be any quicker. It looks great and now I just need to season it and get to smoking.

Sweet smoker, Tripod!! What are going to smoke on it for the maiden voyage?

I have a pork shoulder in the freezer so I will probably start out with that. I may throw a couple slabs of ribs on to for the fun of it.

Yea that is a sweet looking rig you picked up. Some day I should probably get a horizontal smoker such as that.

I got the Cheyenne model which is the 16" one. I would have liked the one like your setup but I have to draw the line somewhere on spending money. I still have a bike to payoff and I would like to get a truck soon.
