Most of this mod. is from salvage, have about $20 invested. The 4” dryer vent and 4”-3” reducer were purchased new. Please excuse the red high temperature silicone as a door seal, next trip to the dump I’ll grab some high heat door seal from a stove and fix that mess. I went with a 4” exhaust for two reasons, one there was a hole previously cut that was too big for a 3” hole and my friend has an ice fishing tent that has a 4” hole for a stovepipe. I have a stainless steel box that fits into the mailbox mod that we can use as a firebox. Haven’t tested the mod. in the ice fishing tent yet but it sure works good with the MES!

Nice . I have a length of 4 " on mine by design . I think it helps get the smoke flowing , and where it necks down to 3 " it form a condensate trap . Glad to hear yours works good .
Nice view of the mountains you have there .

She’s a butte Clark. I have the MES smoker attachment and I think I’ll do the clothes dryer extension. The cover won’t fit with the attachment bolted to the smoker.....

Make sure the flex duct isn't plastic lined. I think mine is an all aluminum 3" exhaust fan duct from Home Depot.
