It’s not much but it’s my happy place. It’s the place we entertain and feed family and friends. At times it just feeds me and the wife and our two children. It’s a place I grill, griddle, smoke, and deep fry. It’s a place of peace after a long stressful day at work. It’s a place of different recipes, rubs, woods, meats, and new ideas. It’s a place I create fabulous meals and also a place of meals I learn from that weren’t so great. For 40 of my 60 years on earth it has been my go to place. It has been a place with just one charcoal grill at times and has always evolved over the years. Would love to have a true outdoor kitchen and should the Lord bless I may one day. For now this is it and I am thankful for my happy place. Feel free to tag yours big or small and thanks for all the help along the way and stay happy and blessed!

Timbo, that's a cool happy place!
Our bbq happy place got put on hold for a better, more important place. My sister and her husband are gonna start building a shouse next spring, but their current house is too nice to demolish so they gave it away to my daughter and son in law. Only thing we need to do is combine the soybeans off the acreage, dig a basement, have basement and garage pad poured, have water and electricity installed, new septic system put in and move a two story house 30 miles. And that will put our 4 month old granddaughter a mile away from us instead of 3 hours away... our happy place!
