my first sausage session

  1. Thanks to all that helped me find a meat grinder, stuffer and vacuum sealer. So here is my first sausages.

    T those look great are you going to smoke them or are they fresh sausages, and ya what flavor did you go with?? 

    A full smoker is a happy smoker 

  7. Those are Italian sausages and I did not smoke them. I found a very basic Italian sausage recipe and used it. They tasted great and I can't wait to make some more sausages. I think next time I will try to make some cajun sausages. the main goal for me was to try to make some delicious sausages, and also try to at least learn how to make sausages. All in all, they really did turn out good, just a little bit on the salty side. But that's okay.I am really happy to be a member of this group. I will show some more pictures the next time I make some more sausages.
