My first butt on the MES BT

I wanted to get the new off my Fathers Day gift so what better way than with an all day smoke on a 7lb butt and chicken quarters! The smoke began about 6AM and finished this evening. AMNPS worked great except for the rookie mistake I made by getting too much air thru the smoker. Ready too eat for a Fathers Day feast tomorrow!

Thanks Al and Sauced! I need to tweak my rub just a bit. I got just a little too much spice for my daughter and my nephew. Mrs. Phil and the rest of the adults loved it.
