Hey everyone. I’m new to the site and to smoking in general but just wanted to post my first experience smoking. Had my panic moments but thanks to the advice I read on previous posts things went great. Woke up at 2am Father’s Day morning to start an 11 lb packer from Costco things were going great till it finished way ahead of time and had to scramble to keep it warm had my cooler and two large beach towels and 4 hours later it was a perfect 160 degrees. It was absolutely perfect and super juicy. Can’t wait to do more

Man that pic looks like really good brisket. Congrats on the first brisket. I hope you cook many more and enjoy every one of them.

Looks pretty darn amazing to me. Nice job breaking your brisket virginity.

Point for sure
