Last week sometime I turned another year older... As usual I received the normal gifts, shirts, socks, etc... My fiancee hit a home run Chessus and Beer! My friends came in a close second with smoked serrano salt and prosciutto!!! I am using the smoked serrano salt on a tri-tip tonight. I may use the prosciutto for some ABT apps! The beer, yeah it didn't last all that long! Ten Barrel is one of our many local breweries, I think we have 17 now. If we remain in town this weekend I may smoke the Cheese.

That's a nice gift and I hope you had a Happy Birthday....Now I have to get all Cheffie on you. That Prosciutto is Imported and very tasty with a Delicate rich flavor, not to mention not cheap. Making ABT's with it is like putting 22" Chrome Rims on a HUGO! May I suggest you get yourself some nice Italian or French Bread, a variety of Imported Olives, maybe some Roasted Red Peppers or Marinated Mushrooms and a Bottle of your favorite Wine. Savor the flavors and enjoy the Prosciutto di Parma with the Rumiano and Gouda. Add a nice Salad and some Candle Light and you and your Lady will have a Flavorful and Romantic Dinner...

Happy Birthday buddy!  Great gifts!

For my birthday my wife said..."just pick out whatever new BBQ/Smoking supplies you want and order them".  Gosh I love that woman!

Okay Okay, I won't use the prosciutto for ABTS!!! We do have a great selection of olives, a really good Baslamic reduction, Fig and Fire. My favorite bottle of wine is Boneyard RPM BEER! The Fiancee gets the wine, and since she doesn't do pork, I get all the prosciutto!!!

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes! It really has been a great year! Now if work could hurry up and get over I could get the tri-tip in the smoker!

Looks awesome!!

Happy birthday!!
