We mixed as long as I remember. I had a phase when I drizzled it with balsamic. We add all sorts of stuff, both veggies and fruit.

I know a few people who love tomato and cottage cheese. I never have been able to like cottage cheese other than as a cheap substitute for ricotta in lasagna. My wife, on the other hand loves it plain, or with fruit.

Gimme a fresh garden grown mater, and I'll either cut it up and eat with a dash of salt and pepper, or maybe a dollop of Duke's mayo, or ranch dressing.

I grew up on pineapple and cottage cheese or cottage cheese and green onions

Give me the tomato... hold the cottage cheese! I'll eat it in lasagna and that's it. Reminds me of curdled milk.

Love homegrown 'maters and love cottage cheese with a lot of black pepper on it, but never thought of combining the two! Will definitely be trying it soon.
