my burnt ends suck, what am i doing wrong?

Look at these burnt ends, i know i am doing it right but dont see what the big thrill is? cut the rope and burnt the ends so it wont frey but am missing the excitement, any suggestions?

You know Hemp (besides being completely impossible to get high off of) is not only cheaper to produce but makes higher quality and stronger paper, rope, clothing, concrete (they have built houses out of it) essential vitamin supplements and fuel!
Amazing...a miracle plant and it is shunned...
Oh well...God smiled upon NJ and allowed us to become the 14th State in the US to legalize marijuana for medicinal use.
