We are going on Sat.. so we are here on Friday afternoon.. just to “Warm up” we went to Terry Blacks for lunch.. it was incredible.. took the pit tour and Three 1000 gal pits were doing 150 Briskets with that delicious post oak...

Sounds like a great weekend. How many briskets did you eat for the "warm up"?

Happy birthday, sounds like some great food, as we get older what else could we need, nice present from your wife,

You better get there at sunrise.. From what I have heard and seen on videos they pretty much sell out before they even open. Sounds like a great trip

Happy Birthday! Hope you get to see it ALL! This is on my bucket list!
You certainly have a wonderful, thoughtful wife congratulations.

As I was reading your post, the image that popped into my head was Shoeless Joe Jackson in the movie Field of Dreams, when he looks around and says " Is this heaven ? "
Thanks for sharing the experience, HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!
