- Two racks w/ rub the night before, two racks sans rub
- smoked 4-5 hrs 225-275 w/ hickory chips
- rested in foil for 20 mins

Rubbed with EVOO then salt/pepper/garlic and onion powder and a small amount of
paprika. Slathered in homemade sauce 15-20 min before pulling off the
smoker. Beginner Q-View :)

Not the greatest photo BUT they were excellent. Had two different packs of ribs one of higher quality (the redder color). Next time I will be buying only the best.

Great meal. I will be doing dino ribs again

They look great! Excellent job.

I am hoping to throw some beef ribs on this weekend if the wife will let me. We have been on a pork kick for far too long.

Ribs look great. Good job. I love beef ribs more than anything. Did you use a rub on them? What was your method on preparing them?

Looks good B2Unit, love beef ribs, I think more than pork, but don't tell anyone I said that

I have only been smoking for a few months but I must say the two racks that were obviously of higher quality were awesome. Tender, meaty and great smoked prime rib flavor. One of my favorites so far.

Rub was a simple combo: sea salt-white pepper-black pepper-onion and garlic powder- and a small amount of herbs de Provence pre-coated the meat with olive oil.

Made a sweet and sour bbq sauce with balsamic/ketchup/honey and beef broth heated with a few herbs and some wine tossed and reduced on the stove. Slathered right before removing / turned ribs once an hour.

Of course, being a rookie I over salted two racks (not too bad) but the others were killer good

This seems to be a really nice meal at a great price. The smoke-box attachment is in the mail so the quality should be even better as I'm able to regulate the heat more efficiently. I am a minimalist (to say the least) so that should be all the modifications to my Chef Pro ....(for now:)

Good looking Qview. Is that membrane holding the rack together? Looks like beautiful and tender ribs. I haven't done beef in so long, everyone here wants pork.

I have to go get some beef ribs very soon. Yours look awesome and very good too.

B2Unit, That loks very enticing. When I think beef I rarely think ribs. I have been smokin pork ribs for ever and have always preferred them. But after seeing your success I will have to try a weekend of fred flintstone bones... HA! Thanks for sharing.

Great Looking Dino Bones...

Nice looking beef ribs, like eating smoked prime rib.
