That's a great idea, John. I'd try it out, but my deck is only a few inches off the ground. LOL.
The deer around here seem to eat everything except for Miss Linda's hostas.

You guys quit worrying about the deer and the hostas. I have some beds of them and they are becoming monsters. In the next two or three years they will cover the eastern half of the United States.

LOL---My Beer drinking days are over.
I used to drink more in one night than I now drink in a month or two.

LOL---I used to drink a lot of Beer. Never cared for hard stuff.
Then I had Open Heart surgery on Nov 8, 2012, and they screwed up, and messed a lot of stuff up inside me, plus I had a stroke during recovery.
So I spent 12 days in Cardiac Intensive Care & 28 days in the hospital. I lost 41 pounds in 28 days, and was down to 201 & dehydrated when I left.

I lost my taste buds at that time, and everything tasted lousy, including Beer, Black Coffee, Prime Rib, Ham & Bacon.
7 months later my taste came back for everything but Coffee & Beer.
So now the only time I drink Beer is if I get company, then I'll have One with my Buddies, and I tried coffee 3 times since, and I still don't like it.

So I can't say I quit drinking---I think it quit me.

Sorry to hear about the heart troubles, I love Beer to, got it naturally from my Dad, I have some everyday, and have,for the last 35 years. Never had a cup of coffee in my life, Diet coke, Water & Beer, pretty much in that order during the day. I better go now and get one, I'm a little behind schedule for the day, it's beer:30 here in the Chicago area....Cheers my friend!
