During the last few years, I've been switching up my holiday gift baskets and Carver hams have been well received. Here is round one featuring double smoked hams (about 90 minutes at 225°), and loaves of light rye. Not shown is some smoked extra sharp Tillamook cheddar.

Looks good! Carve me off a slice or 7!!!😋
I think we're on the same page because I sliced one into ham steaks, and gave them a second flavor smoke, then vacuum sealed them. I'm thinking breakfast, or to cube up into something like potato soup.

Hams look good Wayne! I wouldn't mind that bread recipe. That corned beef is smelling wonderful!
Here you go.

Finally got around to making that bread. I do all mine in loafs as I mainly just use for breakfast toast on the weekend. Looking forward to using it Saturday!

Missed this the first time around. The hams look great! That would be easier than smoking, slicing, and vac packing 40 lbs. of bacon for the relatives.
What cut do you use for a carver ham? Debone, and split the leg down the middle, then cut into quarters?
