Want to convert my coal smoker to a gas one have a vertical water smoker and wondering best way to do it

Good question....

Do you have a side fire box for the charcole and wood? If so i would think maybe figure a way to mount an outdoor frier burner in it. And use either a cast iron pan for the wood chips or an AMNPS for your smoke...... That is just one idea off the top of my head....will like to see what some of the others have to say...

Thank you its loaded from the bottom it a removable metal bucket would that still be a safe method to use would anyone have some links to some good stores that would ship to the UK

What ever you place above the fire needs to be pretty strong or over time it will warp andturn to garbage.

Could i replace coals for lava stones and use a grill rack to place them on thanks for your help i get on that
