Looking for an authentic Romanian Mititei recipe?

Many on-line, but looking for advice. Thanks

Not even sure what that is but it sounds delicious. I hope you find one and share it here so you can educate us who don't know what it is.

Every romanian you'll talk to will tell you their version is the authentic one, yet most buy them already made (ready to grill). Lol

From what i understand the authentic recipe is from beef only, but most restaurants serve mititeti made from beef and pork. Some from beef and sheep - i prefer these. I buy them, haven't made them in 20+ years.

beef/pork version: 2/3 beef 1/3 pork - fatty cuts, 1-1.5 cups of beef broth, salt, black pepper, thyme, all spice, coriander, caraway, paprika; garlic....a lot. 1tsp baking soda.

Mix these well and shape thicker than breafast sausages.

Grill.

Serve with bread and mustard.

These are store bought (i grilled them)
