Live in the Great Cheese Head State Wisconsin Of Course .

I have the Brinkmann Pitmaster Deluxe with the thermostat close to the chimney ,That was passed on to me about 5yrs ago by a close friend (R.I.P.)

not sure how the smoking Part works as of yet .I have maple wood from a Tree that was cut down. and hickory wood chunks from Gander Mnt..

Tried making Ribs Hickory was so strong it Burned your mouth LOL .

Basically looking for some incite on smoking a brisket so I don't rune this one .
