Man my stomach been a mess the last week. I really do not like the travel part of vacations and been fairly nervous especially with this government shutdown. Would suck to get flight canceled coming home. Throw on top of that not knowing what I going to do about health ins next year. Oh well I will get through it. Once I get to Playa things will get better!

Life's too short to worry about things we have no control over. Remember, It's about the journey, not the destination.

Have a shot for me! I hear they have some beautiful señoritas in Mexico!

Enjoy your trip Brian!!! 🍺🍻🍸🍾🍷🍹🥂

You got this! Just plan on the preflight taking longer, if you have extra time = beers. Once there have a big ole marg and start the chillin.

I was in Huston airport last week…. TSA line wrapped the building twice at 4:30AM waited for over 2 hours people are missing flights coming in there expecting to go right through security !!

Yikes. I am TSA Pre, but I have seen the pre-lines get pretty massive before too. Unless they changed it TSA Pre didnt open till some kinda early hour...used to be 6am now it 4am. We started in the regular security line when TSA wasnt open yet then bail and got right through precheck - or we woulda missed a flight.

My flight 6:15 am out of Dallas. Guess I better get there 4 am when tsa open. I be glad when I finally get there! My Brother and his Wife are like best friends. The Tequila evaporates pretty fast around us. First thing for me is the pool after that flight and cab ride.

Have a wonderful time! I am a little jealous...life has been rather h*llish for the last year. Busy AF, some good some bad. But no vacation either. 2026 we hope to get out to anywhere.

We had zero issues with TSA in SF and NY, actually the lines were fairly light. One fight was at 10:00 AM, the other was at noon on the way home. We always get to the airport at least 2 hours early, this time because of the shutdown we got there 3 hrs early, and it was a breeze, better than past flights, actually.

I used to spend a 3 wks to a month a yr down at Playa, fishing for tuna and rooster fish.
Do yourself a favor, Brian, and jump on a half day Panga and tell him you don't care what type of fish, you just want action. The ground fishing is a blast, and pretty much nonstop action.

I hate travel days as well, and I'm not real keen of flying, I just pound 2-4 bloodymary's before I get on the plane, then order a bourbon when the drink service starts on the plane.

Go have fun, Brian, life will be here when you get back, so don't stress on things while you are away. Take some pool pictures, us old guys dig that stuff. LOL.

Be careful of any señoritas that are being extra nice too you at the pool or bar, because they are working, if you get my drift.

You're gonna have a blast.
Enjoy every moment, because it goes by quickly.

Dan.
