Metal Detecting

As if I had some free time, I must admit that one of my hobbies is metal detecting. Do any of y'all enjoy the same hobby?

I've owned a metal detector for the last 30 + years. My youngest son just got one for his birthday which has rekindled my interest. We went out last weekend to an old home and I found a 1911 Barber dime. We plan on getting out as much as possible.

I am an Avid Metal detector'ist ( if that's a word ), I am in the Kansas City MO area, I own a Whites Classic III, older model, I love to hunt, but do not have quality places to hunt, I also work with another guy who I have hunted with.

I must say, I've thought about getting a metal detector. I borrowed one last year to find my lost wedding ring in the back yard... worked like a charm and saved me arse from the rath of my somewhat displeased wife!
