MES window-- useless?

Looking at the MES 40".  I know some have the window to see the meat.  Wouldn't it just soot up after a few uses?  I would like an all stainless one,  but not sure about the window.  Any thoughts?

Clean it after every smoke and it's no problem at all.I wouldn't have one that didn't have a window now.

It's almost a must to clean the window after every smoke.

During long smokes (like butts) I've had it get to a point where it pretty much was useless.

If I were to buy another MES, it would have a window.
