I found the same deal and ordered it on Christmas day.  No idea when it will become "Available" but it's locked in.  Also ordered a cover for it as well and that already arrived.

But- Im guessing the MES 30 cover will not fit the MES 40???? Or will it? Anyone know where you can get one? All I've seen are the 30 covers. I am about to give my huge wood burner a well deserved respite and purchase the MES 40 new generation with an A-MAZING-SMOKE unit, Already have the Maverick Thermos. Sooooo looking forward to smoking again here in West Michigan- ASAP!!!
