MES 40 from lowes

Long time reader, first time poster. I have been researching Masterbuilt products and cant seem to find anything about the 40.2 inch model from Lowes. It is black with no window. I can't find a review anywhere. Any review/help will be greatly appreciated.

The 40.2 I get when I search Lowes is the MES 40 Gen #2 for $279.

That's the one most people advise against buying.

Look for the Gen #1 with the controls in a small box on the back of the top.
