Anyone have problems with heat not shutting off? I can set to 150. Heating light goes off but heats to maximum temp.

What he said. It's likely a failure of the controller, or the relay that turns the heater on/off (the relay isn't opening, to shut off the heater). Hopefully Masterbuilt will help.

Yup---I agree with Sarge. Tell MB & they should send you a new controller.

MES units will coast up another 5° to 25° after shutting off, but coasting 125° after shutting off at 150° is not a good thing.
