Maybe a little too smokey for my taste but that was probably my fault for throwing in chunks of mesquite every now and then.... next time I'll stick to hickory and apple.

Tent set up to smoke in the rain...

Got the fire going good:

Cut the skin off and trimmed up the Ham...

Added the rub (forgot the mustard but added that later in the smoke)

in the smoker and ready to ROCK!!

Between 4 - 5 hrs later when everything else was ready I took it off...

Started at a 13lber, smoked at temps no higher than 250*, I LOVE that bone sticking out!!!

No matter where I cut into it each piece was pure smoked juiciness ham!!!

that looks good. i wish the wife would let me do more than ribs and butts.

Hey eagle your ham looks great. I have to say you did a heck of a job with the shelter too. I used one like that before I built the outdoor kitchen. Then to SoaFung: I would just smoke one cause you know it alot easier sometimes to get forgiveness then it is to get permission.

Great Looking Ham...

Now for my question, why don't you have any of this???

Thats a nice looking ham. Good job.

To SoaFung, I also wanted to smoke my first turkey. My girlfriend of 15 years did not want to risk a first turkey smoke as we had a lot of family over for Christmas. I really wanted to try a turkey on my new Treager 075. So when she said no I bought my own turkey, did hours of reserch on turkey smoking and smoked mine. HeHeHe, guess which turkey the guest liked the most LOL

Awesome looking ham bet it tasted great
