This is my fourth attempt to post this! My internet just does not like to post pictures.
We started out Memorial day by attending a ceremony to honor the fallen veterans of Prince George County, Virginia, and then headed home to get the smoker fired up for those babybacks.
I apologize up front for a not so great qview, just too many people running around and my wife giving me crap about taking pictures of food.
So, here's my little circus tent that gave some relief from the 95 degree temps in Southern Virginia on Monday.
Ribs ready for the WSM!
Ribs on the smoker
Ready for foiling! That's Trevor in the background, always willing to help.
We needed a little appetizer before dinner time, so I thought it would be a good idea to throw on some shrimp. So I sprinkled a little rub on some freshwater shrimp and tossed them in with the foiled ribs.
Finished product...the shrimp were sweet and spicy and cooked perfectly at 15 minutes 225 degrees.
Sorry, but because of the rush, this is the only picture of the finished ribs that I was able to take. They were tender, juicy, and delicious.
Here is desert. My Mom got the recipe off of the internet, I was so proud of her! Honey Bun cake.
Sorry I didn't have better pics of the ribs, but I hope you enjoyed my qview all the same.
Have a great day,
Bill
