Was recommended to the site yesterday by a new acquaintance that works for the same company as myself who happened to be a quite experienced sausage maker!
Only the smallest of experience with sausage making this past fall, but I've already bought some charcuterie books, grinder, stuffer, and other minor tools. Never smoked any meats before, but looking to develop that eventually as well.
Work a blue collar job, love the outdoors and country living, and these arts seem to go hand in hand. Live just east of Rochester, New York.
