I'm looking for some advice/guidance concerning using my Maverick ET-732 with a Kamado smoker. I am currently using an ECB and plan on "graduating" soon to a better smoker (although the little fella does well, I am constantly frustrated with the lack of any realistic temperature control). I've been checking out the WSM and know there's a mod where I can continue to use my Maverick (which I absolutely love, one of the best investments I ever made, thanks SMF!!), but there is a sale at Costco for a Kamado with stand, etc., but I'm thinking I lose my ability to use the Maverick (I'm afraid the cover will crush the probe sensor wire). Any thoughts/experience to help a guy out?? Thanks!
