Has anybody owned an electric smoker that lasted more than 2 years? Mine quit last year after 2 yrs.
My MES 30 Gen 1 is in it's 5th year of loyal and dependable service to me.Has anybody owned an electric smoker that lasted more than 2 years? Mine quit last year after 2 yrs.
Which Masterbuilt model? But the thing about inexpensive Traeger-clone smokers is that they come with a set of problems. Here's a good review of one:Trying to decide between Pit Boss 820 & the 40"Masterbuilt at Sam's, electric or propane.
I've read here on SMF that the MES 40" Bluetooth models are very good smokers. Are you thinking of buying it in a Sam's Club warehouse or online? Sometimes places like Cabela's or Bass Pro will sell special bundled MES packages which are good deals but a bit more expensive than the smokers alone. The bundles may include 6 racks and not for, a meat probe, and some other extras.I had the $100 Cookmaster. Looking at the Bluetooth stainless 40" @Sam's. I want more room & longer lasting.
